Boasting an illustrious rugby career since first picking up a ball at the age of six, Rachael Burford has gone on to play on the winning teams at the Women’s Rugby World Cup in 2014 and the Women’s Six Nations in 2017.
Born in Chatham to a family of rugby enthusiasts and educated at The Thomas Aveling School, Rachael’s roots are very much in Medway through the work she does in the local area. She was our headline speaker at Kent B2B Medway 2018 and shared with delegates how she has overcome struggles to be at the top of her game.
