Optimising your digital presence
Presented by Sean O’Donoghue

Digital is so powerful, and not as scary as you may think. It is based on a series of principles which will help everyone understand and navigate this new world.

Digital is often seen as just a function of marketing and sales. It is much more than that and in order to embrace digital fully business’s need to look at how digital can be used across all areas of the business.

Pretty much all of us have mobile devices, keeping us in constant contact with the digital world. We can’t hide from this fact. Companies should look at how their customers actually reach them. Often people Google products while they look at them on the shop shelves!

Social media is the poster child for digital. But writing posts on twitter or Facebook doesn’t mean you “do” digital. To really embrace digital, you have to review how each channel works with one another and how you can push people into and through each stage of the buying funnel.
