After many years sponsoring the event, Kent B2B Ashford is firmly in the Caxtons Chartered Surveyors calendar for 2018.
This year, we are looking forward to sponsoring the business breakfast, a place which will see businesspeople from all sectors across Kent share stories, perspectives and advice.
For Caxtons, the Kent B2B event is about celebrating successes in the county. It’s a place to find out how other industries are getting on in Kent and share updates of our own.
Kent’s Property Sector
And the end of last year we shared results from Kent Property Market Report, researched and compiled by our team at Caxtons and produced in conjunction with Kent County Council and Locate in Kent.
A combination of Kent and Medway strategically position and the cost of property and land has made the county an attractive and lucrative location for business and industry. In the last two years Kent has seen growth in the office, business park and industrial sectors.
Inward investment to the county continued apace and 2017 Locate in Kent assisted 56 companies to find property occupying in excess of 700,000 ft2, an increase of 200,000 ft2 on the previous year.
A more recent report also confirmed that Kent has some of the most competitively priced areas to live for property renting commuters. HS1 is still providing new and appealing opportunities to live outside the capital and commute in.
Continued investment in infrastructure, regeneration and business space is translating into occupier demand and improved investment prospects. So, despite the uncertainty triggered by Brexit, Kent’s professional, commercial and residential property markets are still showing optimistic signs.
We look forward to sharing more insights with you at the show and hearing sector updates on 7 June.
